Email style changed?

Hi,
when I view the email templates from the Woocommerce settings, the header has a solid color that reaches across the whole “letter”. The actual emails that are sent though have white space around the color on the left and right. Why is there this difference and has the style changed? I remember the emails always had the color reaching across the whole letter.
