I have an "Email this Article" link on our blog posts that has stopped working. I think it stopped working after upgrading to WP V2.0.3. This is from index.php:
a href="wp-email.php?p=<?php the_ID(); ?>"> <img src="http://www.naturalfoodworks.net/wp-images/mailicon.jpg" alt="E-Mail This Article">Email This Article
<?php wp_link_pages(); ?
(I had to leave out the brackets to get this to display here)
I notice that it calls "wp-email.php" but the file in my root directory is "wp-mail.php". So I changed the file name but all that seemed to do was to reword the error message.
"As is" this is what I get:
The requested URL /wp-email.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
After changing the 'pointer" to wp-mail.php, I get:
Ooops POP3 connect: Error  [Success]
