    Thanks for developing this plugin!

I hope you can point me in the right direction.

I have scheduled outgoing emails to be sent on specific days. However, the email log file displays an error message and I can confirm that the scheduled emails are not being sent.

I tried both SMTP plugins recommended and confirm that both plugins can successfully send a test emails.

I attempted to review the FAQ’s but I can confirm my SMTP email plugins are setup up properly and can send test emails successfully.

I am at a loss to figure out what I may be doing wrong and trust you can provide some guidance.

    Thanks.

  • I am using Easy WP SMPT.
I viewed the log there also and didn’t see my husband’s email perhaps showing an error there as well.

@wearesaintly Please don’t offer to send or post logon credentials on these forums:

You can contact the author on their own site and, once there, the discussion is between the two of you. However, it is not OK to enter or send site credentials on these forums. We don’t want to encourage others (who are less reputable) to do similar things. It’s a fine line, but one that we need to enforce. Thanks for your cooperation.

@prasunsen I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums., whether for a production site or a staging one.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.

It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

Thanks @sterndata, noted and will never ask for logins.

Thank you both for the help!

@prasunsen, with those recommendations from @sterndata, do you think we could figure out what could be causing the emails to not be sent?

    Thanks so much.

I still am having an issue sending emails to all of my subscribers. I have the Arigato Pro version now and have set up a cron job that is working but it isn’t sending my emails to the rest of my list. It sends to my email address that I have subscribed to so that I can see the emails and but it is not sending to my husband’s email address who is also subscribed.

    Why is this?

@wearesaintly we tried several times to figure out what’s wrong with your installation but could not. Sorry for giving up, but your case is simply beyond our capabilities.

I got the emails to send!!

    I’m very excited about that.

However, now I’m having an issue with the email formatting.

I’ve created a new ticket topic for that.

Do you have any suggestions for me?

    Thanks so much!
