I’ve run into an issue with email on my install.

I have a plugin (WP Symposium Pro) that is a social media type plugin that offers forums to subscribers.

In the forum there is a “Report” button to report the post to the Admin.

When that Report button is clicked it opens an e-mail window on the client side and the email is correct, except it is missing the at “@” symbol in the address. The apply_filters() call is being placed just before the client side email window is opened.

The issue is that I went back to the stock 2016 theme and it is still happening. I have been in contact with the plugin author and they do not have that issue on any of their installs. I thought it may have been a plugin issue, but it appears to not be happening since it is the apply_filters() call that is removing the at symbol.

I’m at a loss as to why this is happening or what to do to fix it.

Thank you in advance for any pointers or help in correcting this.
