  • When someone uses the contact form on my website, it just says “message can’t be sent”. When I test it myself, it will only work when I am logged into WordPress. If I log out of wordpress and use the contact form on my website, I get the same “message can’t be sent” error. I have had friends test it for me and they all get the same error. Also, if I send a test message to myself (while I’m logged in on WordPress), the mesage will go straight to the junk/spam folder in my email client.

I have trie sending an email from my hotmail account to the website email address for my website and it goes through fine and into the inbox, not in the spam folder. Only when I use the contact form I have problems.

Any idea on what I can do to fix this, thanks.

When someone uses the contact form on my website,

Are you using a plugin for this contact form? Yes? What’s the full name of this plugin? Where did you acquire it?

Or, is this a feature of your active theme? Yes? What’s the full name of this theme? Where did you acquire it?

It is via a plugin which is visual composer, but the form is the built-in form within that plugin (if that makes sense). I’ve just looked it up and the element is called ‘Simple Contact Form’. The theme is the Astra theme.

I hope this is the info you asked for.

If its a feature of that plugin, then I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/visualcomposer/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
