However, many web servers are behind firewalls or have other restrictions that will not allow the server to connect to the email system. This is not a WordPress problem, as such, because WordPress cannot anticipate every server setup. Your server, your host, your problem. * Also, Blog By Email does not stand alone. You have to setup a cron job to hit the wp-mail.php file every so often, to make it look for the email.
