    Im wondering to know is this possible to login with username AND email both in same field? I saw in features list that its possible email or username, but as i understand, it doesnt support login with email or username both- at least in free plugin. Im happy if this feature is supported in your plugin, even if this a pro feature. 🙂

    I will look forward back

    This makes total sense. As you well observed right now, there’s only the option to login with Email OR Username. But I can see why you would want the flexibility to allow your users to login with both.

    I’ve added this request to our features/enhancements list and we’ll make sure to implement it. I can’t give you an estimate, but it will probably be out by the end of January.

    Thanks again for your suggestion and I’ll keep you posted once it’s out.

    Thank you very much for your feedback!

    Just a heads up that we’ve implemented this functionality and it should be out in the next release, coming next week.
    From General Settings tab, you’ll be able to select Login with Username OR Email, and be able to login with either one.

    Hi, I’m using Profile Builder 2.1.2 on WordPress 4.1.1.

    The option “Login with Email OR Username” or “Login with Email” doesn’t work.

    Recently I realized a “login with email” feature with a function located in functions.php, which I disabled now in order to test Profile Builder, but this doesn’t seem to be the cause.

    I’ve just retested both “Login with Email” and “Login with Username and Email” with the setup you mentioned above and it seems to work just fine.

    Does it throw any errors in your case? Make sure you don’t have any custom code or even other plugins interfering with the login process.

    @adispiac, thanks for your reply.

    I don’t get any errors about this.

    I had custom code for this, but this is sure disabled.
    Actually I checked other plugins, and I disabled Bulletproof Security for testing, but it doesn’t work either.

    When looking into your code I see it should inject some hidden fields on bottom of the login form? I don’t find these hidden fields when checking source code in the browser, it seems to me it’s not injected (function wppb_login_form_bottom in this case).
