# Email Optional Comments

 * Hey,
    I’ve just found out about this issue. In the settings I have unchecked “
   Comment author must fill out name and e-mail” but when a user comments on a post
   without filling in an email the page it releoads and nothing happens, no comment
   is posted or shown. When a comment is posted with an email it is added for moderation.
   Does anybody know how to make email (and even name) optional form fields. On 
   my site I feel that requiring an email address puts off some users from leaving
   comments. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
