Email notifications to public subscribers not working
I am not able to mail an email to public subscribers nor are email notifications going to them as well. I have checked all my settings and can’t figure out what is wrong. When I try to mail to my subscribers it comes back ‘not able to instantuate mail, check with provider or settings” I AM able to mail an email to myself as the registered user from administrator (myself)
What is going on please? I had to deactivate my previous blog that froze due to bad plug ins and the subscribers were csrried over through subscriber2. I have deconfirmed them and confirmed them again.
I am surprised that my subscribers are listed under ‘tools’ when last time they were under the subscribe2 widget in the dashboard. My subscribe2 notification settings is listed under ‘settings’ on dashboard
WHen I checked my email templates under Subscribe2 settings, I hit preview email notifications and got “”Problem Connecting to Database Server” and asking if my username and password are correct? What does this mean and how to I check and fix it?
