Email notifications on file replacement based on user roles

    Hello there,

    I run a site on WordPress and i would need my logged in based-role users to get email notifications each time a file is replaced under their assigned user role.

    So, a user with role “all” would get an email notification if i replace a file whose category is assigned to user role “all”.

    I am using Enable Media Replace plugin to replace files but they already told me they can’t offer that: would anyone know if there’s a plugin capable of doing this? I create roles with “User role editor” on WP.

    I don’t mind testing other options, but I would really need to achieve this, so if anyone has ideas, I would really appreciate it!

    Thanks @poku1010,

    Unfortunately i couldn’t find one plugin that would send notifications to users with the same user role than the media file currently been replaced.

    I tested BNFW and the Notifications plugin from WordPress and the latter also allows to add merge codes to it, like the file name or url in a very simple way, but many thanks for your suggestion!
