Hello,
I’m having the same problem. Also, when the form is submitted, users are getting the following error: An error occurred while processing the form. Please try again.
This is even though the forms are actually being submitted.
I tried changing the settings from AJAX to Page reload, and turning off Load form using Ajax option.
I even checked the box Prevent page caching on form pages and disabled my caching software, but nothing seems to work.
Hello @aaworsham !
Hope you’re having a good day!
This usually happens when the emails from the site are being sent through WordPress and the server where the site is hosted. It’s related to the fact that too many people were sending spam from WordPress sites or PHP code and many email providers don’t accept such messages. If the emails from Forminator are sent this way, the can also be affected by this.
A solution here is to send the emails from the site using a SMTP plugin and a 3rd party email service – so it’s like sending the emails from an email app and the delivery rates improve significantly.
Our plugin Branda (free) has SMTP option:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/branda-white-labeling/
https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/branda/#smtp
@lemsic this seems to be a different issue – please open a separate ticket and we’ll check the issue further: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/forminator/#new-topic-0
Kind regards,
Pawel
I actually had the same issue as @lemsic and setting up Branda and SMTP resolved it. U was using WP Mail SMTP prior and that was causing issues somewhere.
Thank you for the guide, it saved a lot of time.
BTW, Branda looks very interesting!
@wpmudev-support9 Thank you! I’ve gone ahead and downloaded Branda, but I am receiving an error message for the SMTP settings, but they all seem to be correct. Are there any other suggestions to try?
@aaworsham Could you try installing a mail logging plugin like this, sending a message, and sharing a link to the mail log using a site like https://pastebin.com/
Might be some useful info in the log after an email send fails.
Hi @aaworsham
I hope you are doing well.
You can use some other alternatives like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
But Branda should work well, had you tried a different provider?
We have some documentation for free alternatives like Gmail: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/branda/#Additional-configuration-examples
Best Regards

Feel free to re-open this ticket if
