Email notification not working

    I’ve installed WORDPRESS (with a theme Edublog). When a new user joins, I’m not notified, even though the email address in the ADMIN SETTINGS page is correct.

    The person joining does not get any notification via email when they join/register either.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi, I am on GoDaddy.com and have the same problem for a website I’m delivering next week for WP 2.7.

    Not receiving any notifications at all.

    Using default themes and am trying to use Members Only / Register Plus and Comment Subscription plug-ins. Email notification doesn’t work whether these are activated or not.

    Please help.

    me too, except wp 2.8.3
    I’ve tried a lot of combinations of custom/non-custom, setting up the email on godaddy, having emails appear to come from gmail, forwarding from one to the other, changing various other settings… but nothing.
