    Yes you have to setup email notification in the settings tab.

    Klaconcepts – did you resolve this? I am not getting a ‘site owner’ email for PayPal orders either, just the one from PayPal itself.

    What hosting provider you using? Could you please contact them. I have not made any chages to the code base in last 3 months.

    I get customer emails fine if I create an order myself so unlikely to be anything to do with hosting.

    OK..Let me end this topic once and for all.

    1) In my plugins, Both simple and premium ( wpShopcart) EMAIL NOTIFCATION WORKS FOR 99% customer ( including my own site )

    If someone is having issues with email, it is always with your hosting.

    HOWEVER, In my plugin there is no separate conception of Merchant email.
    My code normally sends the email to the customer email and cc that email to the owners paypal email. This email ccing only coded for the paypal payment option, not for the MANUAL PAYMENT. Recently I modified the code to add this feature for some of my customers.
