I’ve read extensively about the problem with Form Builder submitting the form, but not receiving the email to the site address on file (that’s the problem I’m trying to solve). I see that a solution is to download WP Mail SMTP, but everything that references that solution is over a year old, and when I go to the info about that plugin, it gives me all kinds of warnings about it not being updated in over 2 years.

Is that still the first step to take if I’m not receiving the email? I checked the email settings in form builder, correct; I can see that it’s submitted, and sent to the email address I entered; but I’m not getting it.

    Thanks.

I figured it out – it had to do with the email configuration within the plugin.

Reply-to email within the form needs to be sent from an address on the hosted website. I had seen some talk of this somewhere else within the support forum, but hadn’t understood it clearly at the time. Easy fix, in the end.

Would have saved me hours, though, if the ‘?’ had just stated that it should be an address from the website; it would otherwise not make sense to me to use that address (an address I don’t use at all).
