We checked this and we can’t replicate this issue. Maybe you have some issues with plugin conflict. Try with deactivating all other plugin and only keep active WooCommerce and Advanced Local Pickup and check.

Check in the plugin settings that the “send email” is checked for the Picked up custom order status.
It is checked all the time. No changes.

We checked again and its working fine and emails are sent. Maybe its issue with your SMTP or mail server.
Emails for other order statuses sent without any issues.
Update: email sent only when using order statuses drop down menu directly in order.
But doesn’t work from all orders dashboard, when pressing “Ready for Pick Up” or “picked Up” icon.
Furthermore, these two strings cannot be translated.

Hello, We couldn’t replicate this issue. We changed Ready for Pick Up” or “picked Up” status from orders dashboard in action panel and mail is sending.
When you press the “Ready for Pick Up” or “picked Up” icon from orders dashboard order status is changed or not?
Hello I have a same problem. when im in order detail and change status to ready for pickup then email is sent. and if i click to icon in list of orders then email is not sent. It looks like a bug.
Tried to deactivate plugins and still no working just in order detail.

Hi, We just released the latest version of the plugin and fixed the order status email not sending from orders page actions panel.
