    the form says that the email was successfully sent and I have verified that it is not in the spam folder.

    After further investigation into this, I have found that only email addresses from gmail are not being sent along.
    So, if a person fills in the form and uses a gmail address, the form never gets sent (even thought the Contact Form DB shows that it was sent).
    If a person fills in the form and uses anything beside gmail the information is sent along as expected.
    My website is hosted with dreamhost and the email address for my domain is setup to forward to my gmail address.

    I know that there is sometimes an issue with the following:
    “Note: It is a known issue that Gmail will not deliver an email it originally sent back to the sender. This means that trying to test the forward by sending an email from myemailaddress@gmail.com to myemailaddress@mydomain.com may not work. Try sending to it from a different email address.”

    I have changed the forward address to a completely different domain name and it still doesn’t send form information if a gmail address is used.

    What suggestions does anyone have to correct this problem?

    Same issue for me. The worst part is that it says it sent correctly, and there is no trace of the issue anywhere, I just don’t get the messages sent through my contact form. Please help.

    Hey everyone!

    This is my first time using contact form 7 and I tested out my form online in preview mode but when I hit “SEND”, the email I receive appears blank with no data…

    I installed “contact form to email” but I think I am missing something in the form field for the email to send with the data you fill in…

    help please!
