Hi @itism64,
Do you mean you are unable to change the Recipient for the email in WooCommerce->Settings->Emails->Request for New Quote?
The other 2 emails are sent to the customer and hence the recipient for the same can’t be modified.
Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood your query.
Thanks,
Pinal
@pinalshah Hi,
No, it is sending the email to customor, but not to the admin. It does send the email to admin but not to the correct one.
In other words if i change the “standaard” woocommerce email setting it shows the new emails but it is not changed in the database. And it looks like has to do with your plugin. (not sure)
Hope you understand now
Hi @itism64,
OH! you mean the plugin is stopping you from changing the admin email address which is present in Settings->General->Administration Email Address?
That should not be the case.
Once you change the email address in there, a confirmation email is sent to the new email address. Once you follow the procedure mentioned in the email, you should be able to change the email address.
Please note that this is a WooCommerce Settings & my plugin doesn’t interfere with the process of changing the admin email address.
You can confirm the same by deactivating the Quotes plugin and checking if you are able to change the email address.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Pinal
hi @pinalshah
No i don´t mean the admin email of WP. I mean the email Email notifications sent from WooCommerce
Sorry, I’m not sure I understand. Can you kindly share some screenshots and/or steps to help me understand the issue?
Thanks,
Pinal
Hi,
Did this ever get resolved?
(Sorry to jump in on this itism64, but I’m having exactly the same issue)
Thanks
Hi @culejules,
Can you kindly share some screenshots and/or steps to help me understand and replicate the issue at my end?
Replicating the issue at my end will help me in assisting you better and provide a quicker resolution.
Awaiting your response.
Pinal
Hi Pinal
Sorry, I needed a quick resolution and so have moved on to another plugin I’m afraid.
The issue appeared to be that admin email addresses weren’t saving, because they were not appearing in the email settings screen, below the others, where they should show.
Regards
Hi @culejules,
I’m sorry to hear that.
If you could be so kind as to help me a bit more here, below are the screenshots of the 3 email templates from WooCommerce->settings->Emails
1. Send Quote – sent to customers (https://www.screencast.com/t/DBbOSSAU6)
2. New Quote Request Sent – sent to customers (https://www.screencast.com/t/Fg1m4vijuMi)
3. Request for New Quote – sent to admin (https://www.screencast.com/t/8qZbwswW)
As you can see in the screenshots, the Recipient field is displayed for the email which is sent to the admin and I’m even able to edit and save the same.
The recipient field should not be displayed for emails sent to customers as the values are dynamic.
Am I missing something here?
Pinal
