Hi, when I receive an email generated by the plugin, the message text is vertically centered, and not top justified.

Not sure if this is clear, so I will try and give an example.

This is what I see (Text is vertically centered):

————————- Top of my message screen
    (Blank line)
    (Blank line)
    Text line 1
    Text line 2
    (Blank line)
    (Blank line)
————————- Bottom of my message screen

This is what I would like (Text is top justified):

————————- Top of my message screen
    Text line 1
    Text line 2
    (Blank line)
    (Blank line)
    (Blank line)
    (Blank line)
————————- Bottom of my message screen

Is there a setting in the plugin to do this?

I am using the Thunderbird email client and have never seen email text that is vertically centered before, that is why I am wondering if it is the plugin……
    Thanks ahead of time.

    Hi ironfish2,

If I’m understanding what you’re describing correctly, it sounds like you’re seeing the padding we add at all edges of a notification email. Here’s a screenshot of a test notification from my site so you can compare.

If you’d prefer to remove this padding, there are a couple options:

    1) Plain text emails: This will be a more dramatic change, as it will remove all styling that comes default in HTML forms. However, since many email providers still have fairly limited support for mobile styles it can sometimes be a good alternative. To use this, you’d need to go to WPForms > Settings > Email tab (here’s a screenshot highlighting this setting).

    2) You could modify notification CSS. This is a bigger challenge, and will require modifying some code and experimenting a bit. This code should help you get started, and there are instructions in the comment at the top to explain how to add the code. However, I apologize as we aren’t able to provide support for the level of customization needed to alter and implement this.

I hope one of these offers a good option for you! If you have questions about anything else, please let me know 🙂

    Thanks for the info 🙂
