    Hi,
I have configured an email widget to my website. Cannot share the link, because it is in development environment.

I have configured the email like this:
    sales@xxxxxxx.sr

But when I click on the icon, it is not referring to mail on the email address. It is just opening another tab.

Here is the screenshot of my website with the email button: https://snipboard.io/PVDMmw.jpg
here is screenshot of how it is configured: https://snipboard.io/yvX5YE.jpg
    https://snipboard.io/UoTcbs.jpg
One more thig, if you open the screenshot you will see a whatsapp icon in green. I have removed this several times but it keeps coming back.

Do you have any solution for that? And how can I place whatsapp icon, like the other icons are there?

Can someone please tell me how I can solve this issue?

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install and activate “Health Check”: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/
It will add some additional features under the menu item under Tools > Site Health.
On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
There’s a more detailed description about how to use the Health Check plugin and its Troubleshooting Mode at https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/

    The email issue is solved.

    Glad to know it 🙂

tell me how I can whatsapp icon in the widget?

Out of the box, WP does not output whatsapp icon.

Is it out putted by your active theme? If so, I recommend asking at that theme’s support.

Or, if it’s outputted by a plugin, then I recommend asking at that plugin’s support.

    Hey @t-p ,
Okay Thank you. For the email I had just written: mailto:sales@ics.sr.
And then it worked. It was not a plugin issue.

    okay, thank you.

    Regards,
