email going to wrong address

    I have a site I have done some work on that is now sending me email notifications about comments etc, but I am not the website admin, my email address is not listed under settings -> general -> Administration Email Address and never has been.

    I cannot figure out why I am getting these emails from the site.
    Anyone else got any idea why I would be getting these notifications? the site uses wp mail SMTP to send the emails.

    Hey, lordsnake, I suggest going into “Settings->Discussions” in the back-end and adjust the settings in the “Email me whenever” section so that you stop receiving comment related emails.

    of i just turn them off then the website owner will not get any notifications either. Then no comments will ever get moderated.
