# Email format when new post added

 * is there any way at all to edit the format of the email that is sent out when
   a post is created. Adding a logo for example?

   an email that’s sent to people who’ve subscribed to your site, alerting them 
   to the fact that you’ve added a new post? If so, which plugin are you using to
   add this option to WordPress? (For example, Jetpack has a Subscriptions module
   which lets you do this.)

 * Hi, us I have jet pack, maybe that is what is generating the email. I will look
   at that and see of that is where I edit. I can’t tell where it is coming from.

   using Jetpack, then the emails are being sent out by wordpress.com, and so there’s
   not really any way for you to change their format.

 * I can’t seem to find where the emails are controlled from. Surely there must 
   be a way to control the email which is sent out, even with a 3rd party option.
   Is there a way to stop the emails going out, I would rather that than have them
   go out with wordpress logo’s on them. Thanks for the help.

 * Jetpack is built around providing popular features as simply and hassle-free 
   as possible. For more control, you’ll generally need to look for a more complicated
   plugin, like [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wysija-newsletters/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wysija-newsletters/)
   in this case.

   van still send out using mailpoet?
