Email digest

    Hello,

    I need to be able to achieve the following:

    1. Send out a daily digest of new posts to users who have access to certain categories.

    For example.
    Role 1: Technicians / only receive a digest from the Ask a question category
    Role 2. Sales / only receive a digest from the News category

    I’ve tried subscriber2 which can do the digest bit, but there does not seem to be any way of restricting which categories are sent to the user, based on the users role.

    I’ve also looked into BuddyPress and the digest plugin which works with it however this digest plugin seems to only be interested in BuddyPress activity, and not core WordPress activity (i.e. new posts).
