    Helow Jared.

    I have this:
EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v2.5.1 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Gmail
    invalid_client
Please make sure your Google Client ID and Secret in the plugin settings are valid. Save the settings and try the Authorization again.
Consider running an email test after fixing it.

Google Client ID and Secret in the plugin settings is valid and updated,
but the problem is I can’t set the email address in the field. Don’t let me write my address on it.
I uninstall the pugin and reinstall but same isue.

From Email Please first authorize the Gmail mailer below
    Force From Email
Gmail mailer will automatically force From Email to be the email address that you selected above.

    Thank you.

  • Hi @suciu,

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like your Google account is not successfully connected. Once you enter the Client ID and Secret, please save the settings and then click on the ‘Allow plugin to send emails from Google account’ button. After it connects successfully you’ll be able to select the registered Gmail aliases in the “Email From” address.

If the issue still persists, could you please share details on what happens after the authorization process with screencast if possible?

    Thanks!

Hi @suciu – We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
