# Email confirmation that email address changed

 * Hi!
    I have this message below when I try to change my admin email:
 * “Your email address has not been updated yet. Please check your inbox at [xxxx@gmail.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/email-confirmation-18/xxxx@gmail.com?output_format=md)
   for a confirmation email.”
 * However, I didn’t receive any email to confirm.
 * Please help.

 * Click the “cancel” button. You can change the admin email directly in the database
   using PHPMYADMIN from your hosting control panel. Navigate to the wp_options 
   table and file the row with the key “admin_email”. Edit that row to set a new
   email address.
