    Hey there

First of all great work with this plugin. Big thanks!

I need one thing though. Mainly I don’t know how to set an email to send contact forms. I’m using orbit fox alongside elementor.

When I put in a contact form on my website from your widgets and try to send one, I get the Ops, email couldn’t be sent.

Hopefully you can help me somehow. I think it hs to do with the email configuration but I can’t seem to find the settings for it. Only the mail it should be sent to.

  • I have a similar problem. When clicking Send, a message “Your message has been sent!” appears, but the mail is not getting sent – it’s not in the mailbox, spam etc.
The destination email is in the same domain, so this shouldn’t be a problem. Also, ContactForm7 set up on the same website, with the same destination email works as expected.

    Hey folks,

Can you please give us more details about the issue encountered and also a link to your website to better see what is going on? Please provide some screenshots or a screencast if possible. If you’re using Google Chrome you can use this extension to create screencasts:

If not then you can use this solution:

Thanks a lot for your patience and understanding.

I have tried composing a test message to send it through your contact form. Have you received the message?

If not, then this issue might be occurring due to a plugin conflict. So please deactivate all plugins and check if it resolves your issue and after that try activating the plugins one by one to find problematic plugin. Then replace it with an alternate plugin.

You might want to back your website up before doing this, if you don’t already have a backup plugin then you can use this one:

Since deactivating your plugins might change the features on your website you might want to put it behind an under maintenance page. We recommend this plugin:

Since it’s a new plugin it most likely won’t cause any additional issues.

Let us know if this solved your issue.

Hi Silviu, thanks for your tips. Unfortunately, the mail does not get sent (or at least is never delivered) even with only 2 active plugins: Orbit Fox and Elementor.

I also tried with another target email on another domain, same result, no sign of email.

Is there any setting I need to check, other than in “Form settings”?

    Hello @maciejs,

I tried to replicate the same issue at my end but it’s working fine at my end. Mail delivered successfully to my Gmail account. Would you please try with a Gmail or Yahoo email address and check how it goes.

    Hi, @poonam9.
I have already tried with all but 2 plugins disabled, and with recipient mail on both my WP domain and on Hotmail – never recieved the email.

I can’t be bothered to setup GMail or Yahoo, and I can’t risk having emails not received when senders see „Message sent” confirmation. This is bad business.

Therefore, I rolled back to another contact plugin which has always worked fine.

I also had the same problem, I tried to send to Hotmail email but I didn’t receive any email.

Update: I changed the send to email to Gmail and it worked.

I have a similar problem. If you delete the email address field, then when submitting the form, there will be an error “Invalid email.”. Pls fix it.
