This issue has not been fixed in the latest release, version 1.0.6. Emails are still being sent from wordpress@domain.com

I think this should be fixed on a higher level within your WordPress installation.
For instance, if I dont configure my Gravity Forms properly it will also send an e-mail from wordpress@domain.com. So if you properly set it globaly, then it is fixed in you whole WP installation.

However I don’t believe fixing it on a higher level should be necessary in this case. The plugin has a specific setting for sender email. See http://prntscr.com/s29m4l
