    I set up this plugin for a client about a year ago, and it seems that it’s behaving a bit differently in their most recent use of it. The client seems confident that in past uses of the form (for class registrations), she received two emails for each registrant: one that notified that the form had been completed/submitted, and a second email confirming payment. The settings panel for the plug-in has a pulldown menu for the email notifications that has an option for before payment, after payment, or no email.

    Is the two-email function available? Was it there before? How can I achieve this?

    Hi @rdmckelvey,

    Yes, this is a feature of Contact Form 7 actually. You can send up to two emails per form submissions.

    If you go to edit the form, it’s on the ‘Mail’ tab.

    I’m not sure we’re talking about the same thing (but I could be slow :-)…

    What we want to do is to have an email sent immediately when a visitor completes the form, and then a second email when they finish paying. This is a request from my client…I’m guessing they want to be aware of people who bailed out after getting to the payment step. Again, they believe that the “before and after” emails were how the plugin was set up in the past.

    This may be the same question, but if I set the email setting to “Before redirecting to PayPal” I get the form content immediately (as I would expect). Is it the case that a second email will be generated after payment is complete? I haven’t tested this, since I don’t want to commit the funds (unless I really have to!). If this is the case, then I don’t think anything is broken or different.

    My bottom line is whether the client will get both the form content and then afterwards the payment confirmation.

    Sorry for being unsure of this…I set it up quite a while ago and have forgotten most of what I learned about it when I first did the work.

    Hi @rdmckelvey,

    Sorry for the delay in replying to this. Currently there is not a way to send an email in the free or pro version before and also after payment. The free version only allows it to send before payment, and the pro version you would choose before or after, but not both.
