• I wanted a new username for my profile. I saw that it’s not possible to change your username, so decided I would replace may main email on my existing profile with another email address, then set up a new account with my main email and my desired username.

    I replaced my main email with an different email, then tried to set up the new account with my main email, but I get the “Email already exists” error. But if I try to go a password reset with that email, I get the “The specified user does not exist.” error.

    What can I do to release the email address so I can use it for a new account?
