I have user registration active in checkout, and my users are not very smart with internet: when they have already an account, but go to checkout as a guest, they fill the registration form with an existing e-mail, then click on “pay with paypal”, do all the payment process, an then the system take them back because the e-mail they insert already exist, but they think they complete the order with success. The only solution that comes to my mind, is that when they fill the e-mail field, if the e-mail arleady exist, the border turns in red with the warning message. I can’t let the user buy as a guest, cause i sell online courses, and them have to be linked to an account. I just want that when the user type his e-mail, if the e-mail already exist, a message “e-mail already exist” appear and the field border turn in red in ajax. These could be because they forgot the password, can’t access their email inbox to reset the link, or other issues.
