Email Address Problem

Hi
I have a wordpress site running with a contact form that sends messages without a problem except if someone enters an email address from for example ‘myemail@me.com or any @me.com address.
Is this because the validation process is thinking that @me is not a valid domain?
If so how can I solve it please?
