Hi breaie,
To troubleshoot the issue, could you check if there are any caching plugin installed on your site, and if so, please clear the cache and try again.
I hope this helps 🙂

Hi Ethan,
I’ve done that a few days back. This issue has been ongoing for over a week now.
Hi breaie,
Thanks for letting me know. Could you check if you have any SMTP plugin installed on your site?
Thanks!

Hi Ethan,
No, the only plugin that may have an SMTP program would be WP Forms. I do not have any other smtp plugins on the site.
I did deactivate the plugin and later uninstalled it and reinstalled the plugin and cleared cache. Then I reinstalled the plugin thinking that all information would be erased and start fresh. Not. All of my forms came back in the plugin, so I created new forms thinking that may solve the issue. No. Still emails to the wrong email address.
My user admin profile email was changed after I installed this plugin originally. WP has confirmed this is the email address change was confirmed in the admin panel by them on May 4th.
I’m at a loss now of what to do. I do like the plugin which was originally Themeisle’s creation. Their stuff rocks!!
Thanks,
Brenda
Hi breaie,
Thanks for the details! In this case, could you go to the form builder > Settings > Notifications, and use your email address to replace the content in the Send To Email Address field, to see if that helps resolves the issue?
Thanks 🙂
Hi breaie,
We have not heard back from you in about a week, so I’ll be closing this thread. If you need any help, please feel free continue this conversation, or start a new thread.
Thanks 🙂

Hi Ethan,
I tried your above suggestion weeks ago before you posted your suggestion. That does not work either.
I’m out of ideas on how to correct that problem.
Thanks.
Hi breaie,
I’m sorry to hear that!
In case it helps, could you try using one of the recommended SMTP option in our tutorial? A SMTP plugin configures your to send authenticated emails using a specific email, and helps improve email delivery.
Hope this helps 🙂

Thanks Ethan,
I’m tired of playing with it.
