email address authentication

  • My money is on ‘No’. From what I know, the most you can validate is the format of the email address (is there an at symbol (@)? is there a period (.). All the rest (xx@xx.xx) would pass as valid.

Keep in mind that (probably) millions of email addresses worldwide are created and deleted each day.

I stand corrected. I just found this (Checkmail validation for Contact Form 7) while searching the plugins under the search ‘Contact Form 7’
