I see that Yoast SEO interprets em dashes (—) as letters and not punctuation.

For example, if I write my key phrase, and my key phrase. It will find “my key phrase” regardless of the comma or period.

However, if I write my key phrase—using em dashes for a parenthetical—then it will not detect the phrase. Em dashes are proper punctuation, and they are not supposed to have spaces around them — this is wrong — for example. Because em dashes function as a space.

Can you fix Yoast SEO to recognize an em dash same as other punctuation, such as a period or comma?
