  • Hello Frank,

    Before activating AO I had 69 on mobile and 83 on desktop.
    After activating AO I got 51 on mobile and 61 on desktop. Also, the Server response time increased from 0.3s to 4.5s.

    My website is: https://dan.smartdevelopment.ml/
    and AO is activated. I initially wanted to Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content.
    I tried different option combinations after reading above, but can’t seem to get a good score. Can you please take a look?…maybe you can find something?

    Thank you!

    @platcatheo, some tips;

    regarding response time;
    * make sure you have a page-cache somewhere
    * consider checking out the beta of AO 2.2 which significantly improve on loading time of non-cached optimized CSS/ JS
    * have a look at these pointers

    with regards to GSPI reco’s;
    * you’ll probably need to tweak the critical css to reserve the correct amount of vertical space for your carousel
    * 4 of the 6 remaining render-blocking resources are external to your site, try cutting down on those (AO can only optimize local resources)

    hope this helps,
    frank

    Thank you for your quick reply Frank.

    AO 2.2 alone got me 85 on desktop (+2), but on mobile I got 62 (-7).
    Altough, after testing it in combinaation with diffrent caching plugins, I found Gator Cache that bumped me up on both (+1 for mobile and +4 for desktop).

    Thank you again and I hope that my situation will provide useful info for you and for others. 🙂
