Eliminate :Comments are Disabled Text" (Top)

  • Hi,
    I have comments diabled on every page except for my blog page. I would like to remove this text >Jun 26,2014 Comments are Disabled By Brian Holmes< which sits at the top of each page in which comments are disabled. Example
    Can this text be removed?

    Hi BrianDH,

    You can remove it with a single line of custom css. You will need either a custom css plugin; or a child theme; or an option in your theme where you can add custom css.

    The following line will remove the entire div:

    .blog_section2_comment {
        display: none;
    }

    NOTE: Removing the “By Author” line may result in inappropriate behavior if you ever link your website to Google+ profiles.
