Support » Plugin: Getwid - Gutenberg Blocks » Eliminate black bars on embeded YouTube video

    Hi 🙂

I am struggling to get embedded YouTube video to work on desktop and mobile at the same time.

I can set it up so that there are no black bars on desktop, but then when you reduce the window size to “emulate” a smaller screen (eg, tablet or mobile) I get black bars on the video (depending on setup, either top and bottom, or both sides)

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

    Thanks! 🙂

I’ve found a work-around for this – instead of using a video section linking to the YouTube URL, I just uploaded the video and it works fine 🙂

    Hi @dangerousdisco,
Thanks for your question and update. Yes, there is available default Gutenberg YouTube block to embed videos. The section allows you to add a YouTube video as a background video instead.
