This has become such a pain in the butt with these updates constantly breaking my site. I updated ElementsKit Lite 2.6.2 just to find out after that the update doesn’t work with WordPress 6 or with the new updates for Elementor and Elementor Pro. If I active ElementsKit Lite 2.6.2 all my pages done in Elementor, can’t be edited or view them. I get an error “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page” Yes I deactivate all my plugins excluding Elementor. One by one, I activated WooCommerce, YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode, YITH WooCommerce Brands Add-On Premium, and Exit Notifier Elementor and everything works, but as soon as I active ElementsKit Lite 2.6.2, boom! I can’t edited or see my Elementor pages anymore. I’m using Astra Version: 3.8.2 and yes I change to the Hello theme and change it back, so it’s not the theme. For the last 3/4 months, this has been the most aggravating Elementor updates.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @majesticperl,

Actually, The the_content issue is generally caused by Elementor when you are trying to edit a page/template that has dynamic contents. In order to solve the issue, Navigate to Settings > Permalinks from your WordPress dashboard. Change your permalink structure to Plain first and save the changes. After that, revert back the permalink structure to the one you have set previously and save the changes. The issue will be solved right after that.

Let me know if that helps or if you need any further assistance. I will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Amir

    Hello @majesticperl ,

Sorry for the inconvenience you had. But this is a common issue in wordpress with Elementor. In most of the cases this issue arises for permalinks structure in WordPress. If you reset the permalinks structure your problem should be solved.

So, remove your Standard Permalinks Settings to any other settings. For example: if currently you have Post Name Settings then change it to Plain settings and then revert back to the Post Name again.

For more details you can check this article from Elementor.

    Regards,
    Benjir
