Just moving from Visual composer to this and it seems like a great plugin. Easy to use and lots of options (maybe too many). But not very compatible. I constantly get the elements spinning in a loop so cannot add any. I deactivate a plugin it will work (likely a conflict), but then same issue after editing the same page a few times. Also, clicking on templates never shows all of the templates. Shows maybe a few and then have to click on all to see them. Not sure if these are bugs but I seems to be spending a lot of time designing a simple page. Also why isn’t the text editor a popup, so there can be more space when typing in it, instead of a small area on the left menu.

Any ideas. At a point where I may go back to Visual composer. It is not the best UI, but atleast it is stable and not so many issues. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Have looked at videos and docs, but not much info about this issue.

  • The Widget Panel loading problem has some solutions listed at https://docs.elementor.com/article/576-elementor-widget-panel-not-loading and yes, it could be other plugins interfering. That may say more about those plugins than about Elementor, but in any case, if you find any plugins that cause issues, please get in touch with their support. They may already be working on a fix or will probably appreciate knowing about the issue.

Regarding the text editor, you can drag the widget panel’s right edge to make it wider. And there is a little triangle of dogs in the bottom right corner of the text editor screen that you can click and drag down to make it taller.

Regarding the templates not showing, I don’t have an answer for that. That’s not normal, so again that might be a conflict with something else.
