Support » Plugin: WP Job Manager » Elementor-Templates per Job Category?

  • Resolved bewheike

is there a possibility to create Elementor-templates per job category? I have created a couple of job categories within WP Jobmanager. Now I would like to define specific templates for each job category within Elementor Themebuilder. But within the conditions of Elementor I can only choose “all jobs” or a single specific job, but no job category.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi Heike ( @bewheike )!

This question is beyond what we can help with but some other forum members may have a suggestion for you.

You can try and see if this plugin can help you get what you need:

    Hi bindlegirl,

thank you very much for replying!

I have already installed elementor connector and they were my first contact for addressing this issue. But they couldn’t help. They asked me to contact Elementor, what I did. But they also couldn’t help.

Elementor-support said: “If your job listing has a category listing inside it just like the default wp post has you should be able to see the category options. If not, you will not see that and in this case, you would need to move to job listing support and see why their category is not enlisted under elementor conditions.”

Hello friends, how are you? I hope that every day is healthy in this time of pandemic.

Just like you, I will need to be able to create exclusive pages for certain categories. After some tests I managed to write a shortcode to solve this problem. What I did just get some HTML snippets from the Elementor template and assemble the shortcode like this:

    [jobs show_filters=”false” show_pagination=”false” per_page=”20″ orderby=”featured” order=”DESC” categories=”Artes”]

With this shortcode base you will be able to adapt your reality by changing the number of jobs per page, also changing the type of category and etc.

In that case you just need to change the category and apply the shortcode to the page you want.

I hope it can help you, remember, then give me feedback if it worked for you too.
    God bless you. Good job!

I’m marking this as resolved since it’s been over 2 weeks with no response. If you still need help with this, please feel free to mark it ‘not resolved’ again.
