 * Hello, is it possible to copy Elementor templates from one WordPress installation
to another via FTP? If there are larger amounts of files? In which folder do
the templates have to be copied and must the data be in zip format or unpacked.
I always get the message Invalid template type when using the normal upload function..
although the templates work without any problems on another page best regards
   Dominik

Yes, it’s possible to copy Elementor templates from one WordPress installation
to another using FTP, especially when dealing with a larger number of files.
Elementor templates are stored in the WordPress database, but you can export
them and transfer the files manually.
 * Here’s a step-by-step guide:
    1. **Import** / **Export Elementor Templates:**[https://elementor.com/academy/how-to-import-and-export-elementor-websites/](https://elementor.com/academy/how-to-import-and-export-elementor-websites/)
    2. **Transfer Files via FTP:**
    3. - Connect to your source WordPress site using FTP and navigate to the wp-content/
          uploads/elementor/templates folder.
        - Locate the folder with the name of the template you exported. It should contain
the .json file and possibly other assets like images or CSS files.
        - Download the entire folder to your local machine.
        - Connect to the destination WordPress site using FTP and navigate to the wp-
          content/uploads/elementor/templates folder.
        - Upload the entire folder from your local machine to the destination server.
 * Make sure that the folder structure and file names are preserved during the FTP
transfer. The files should not be in a zip format; you can upload them as-is.
If you encounter an “Invalid template type” error, double-check that you are
importing an Elementor template file and not a different type of file.
