 * Hi [@sriva](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sriva/),
 * Thanks for the post and apologies for the confusion.
 * To create a popup using the Elementor editor, first create an Elementor template
and place the content you’d like displayed in the popup. Then, place the template
shortcode in the Popup Maker popup editor. Please note that you’ll need Elementor
Pro for the template shortcode to be available.
 * If you’re using a unique design in your template and wish to display it without
the popup container, you can set the popup theme to **Content Only**. You can
find this option in Popup Settings — Display — Appearance — Popup Theme — Content
   Only.
 * Hope this helps. Let us know if you have other questions.

 * I saw this workaround, but compatibility means open Elementor like happens in
page or post. I hope this problem will be fixed in the next releases.
   If you
write on your site that is compatibile with Elementor people expects to open
the content in the popup maker content with the dedicated Elementor button, now
it’s not possible, the editor can’t load correctly.

 * Hi [@sriva](https://wordpress.org/support/users/sriva/),
 * One clarification: compatibility means the plugins work together; it doesn’t
necessarily mean every builder can edit a Popup Maker popup exactly like a standard
   page or post.
 * Even supporting Elementor templates inside popups required substantial integration
work. Popups render outside the normal WordPress content loop, while Elementor
expects its CSS, scripts, and widgets to initialize during a standard page render.
Making Elementor content display and function correctly in that different context
was already a supported compatibility workflow—not simply a workaround.
 * Direct editing is a separate challenge because Popup Maker popups are intentionally
private, while Elementor’s editor expects a publicly queryable document and also
   has its own popup system.
 * That said, your expectation was reasonable because the dedicated Elementor button
appeared but the editor couldn’t load correctly. We’ve now completed deeper Elementor
support, including direct popup editing, accurate previews, frontend styling,
and interactive widgets. It is undergoing final review for inclusion in our next
   release.
 * Thanks for raising the issue.

 * Yes I agree with your point of view, my opinion is that popup builder is a great
plugin, and when I saw this issue “I raise a hand” on this, because the site
   is misleading on this point.
Very appreciate your effort to achieve this functionality
as best possibile in the next release, not only with shortcode
 * Many Thanks and good work!
