Hello,

I am using elementor and elementor theme builder to create the product page. I have enabled Klarna on-site messages for the product page but I do not see it in any hook possition I am using. From the elementor support I get that the plugin is not compatible with elementor so they can not provide a valid solution.

Is there a way to add the onsite message? Is there a shortcode (I was not able to find any)? Is there any other way to add this messages anywhere I want? Maybe a function that I can echo it with the use of a custom shortcode?

Hi!

As you are mentioning, this is a known compatibility issue with Elementor and templates. To solve it, we recommend using the shortcut for OSM. Here is a link where you can read about how to implement On Site Messaging via shortcode:

Hello,

Thanks for the help, this solved my problem.

I have another question. I do not see any locale parameter for this shortcode, so how can I change the locale for the english page? Now I have “el-GR” in both Greek and English pages, but for the English one I want “en-GR”. I am using WPML if this helps.

The on site messaging should catch which language is configured for the website and use the same. Are you having issues with the English site displaying on site messaging in greek?

Hello,

No, the site is configured for Greek, but I am using WPML to translate the site in English. On the English version of the product I see Greek on site messaging. Hello,

No, I have not tried that, but I also do not understand what I need to do. I mean the documentation mentions this about currencies, but I do not have multicurency enabled. Is this the filter memtioned I need to add? I know how to check the current language with WPML. I just need the correct filter to force locale.

Hi!

Yes correct, the filter should force the OSM to be viewed in the language you wish to configure for. For reference, there is a previous thread raised by the account regarding a similar issue but for a different website:
