Hi there. One of our developers left a comment on the GitHub topic about this that I think addresses this error: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/22896#issuecomment-477074896
Take a look there, and let us know if you have any further questions.
Hey @apmwebdev thanks for the reply.
the comment you linked to says the issue has been fixed on your end, correct? but that isn’t the case as I just got an email about this exact issue
unless there is something I need to do on my end to get it fixed? is there something in the thread (that you linked) that I need to apply to my website?
Hi @dlynch027. Sorry, I should have been more specific. According to the thread, if you’re continuing to see these errors, they are due to “inline markup added by your theme.” This means that it is likely a theme issue. I’d recommend switching to a default theme (temporarily) and seeing if your site passes validation then. You could also do this from a staging site. Check out our doc on on testing for conflicts here for more information, including how to easily set up a staging site.
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any further questions!
