# Editting Issues

 * When Click on EDIT, opens to the Options page, all pages experience this issue.
   Does not open to the Edit page.

 * So, if you want to edit a page, you’re redirected to the settings page in the
   backend? That’s actually extremely strange and, of course, shouldn’t happen.
 * First, I’d recommend clearing your browser cache and trying a different browser
   to rule out your current browser as the cause of this issue.
 * If that doesn’t work, I’d consider a plugin you’re using or your theme as a possible
   cause. Try deactivating all plugins to see if it works then. If so, one of the
   plugins was to blame, and you can find the culprit by reactivating them one by
   one.
 * If it still doesn’t work without any plugins, your theme is likely the culprit.
   You can also try switching to a different one, such as TwentyTwentyFive.
 * If you’re unsure about any of these tests, you can also set up a test environment
   where you can run through the process without changing the live site. You can
   do this, for example, with [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/).
 * It’s also highly recommended to back up your project before making any changes.

 * tried the cache, different computer login and browsers, all exhibit same issue,
   will try the other suggestions and advise of results.
