    Hello everyone,

I'm currently setting up my website with the theme called "Active Baby".

My footer of the website gives this information: "Art by Payday Loans | שמלות כלה | Vegas Shows". Rather anoyying.

I've searched through a lot of posts on the support page, however I'm not able to find the particulary help that I need.

Hope somebody finds a solution for me.

Oh! One other thing, is it possible to put my pages on the left side of the website instead on the right side?

    Kind regards,

From your WordPress Dashboard go to Appearance -> Editor and then find "Footer" or "footer.php" in the right column.

You might see the "Art by Payday Loans" line written at the bottom of this file or it might be encoded. If you're comfortable looking at the code you should be able to figure it out. If not, you can copy and paste your entire footer.php file here and someone should be able to point out the section to remove.

For your other question, on most sites you can swap your main content and your sidebar sections by changing their floats from right to left, or vice versa, in your CSS file. If you provide a link to your site I (or someone else) can tell you specifically where to make the change.

I doubt that my site is 'hacked', as nobody knows of it's existing...
    I think it's somewhere intergrated in some xxx.php ...

As for some other problems, I hope somebody can help me with these also.

    Thank you for helping me.

    Kind regards,

  6. Actually your site is hacked just not in the malware sort of way.

Here's the thing: the company that provided you with that theme is 100% non-GPL compatible. They intentionally booby trap the theme so that you (the user) must preserve the links that they get paid for to display on your WordPress installation.

To quote someone much more quotable then I am

Sorry but your chosen theme is not released under GPL. Non GPL products are not welcome in the WordPress community. Official WordPress policy states that all plugins and themes that are publicly released are required to adhere to http://wordpress.org/about/gpl/

Any support requests for non-GPL products are usually ignored, in the interests of supporting the community and its freedoms.

The link that WPyogi provided you explains it in more detail.

We do not support anything from that theme vendor. I actually have a list of web sites that are on my naughty list because they are doing things like this and it just hurts users such as yourself.

What I encourage you to do is avoid garbage themes like that and instead get them from a reputable source.

Wow... those people are nasty o_0.
Finally found a "decent" theme, and I cant edit it whatsoever ... Bah!

    *Searching for a new theme*.

  8. Sadly searching for themes via Google, Yahoo, etc. has been ruined by theme providers like that. Or more simply "They suck wind loudly and should get really bad karma." ;)

There are a lot of good themes at the WordPress repo here and we support those in these forums.

There are a lot of good GPL friendly commercial theme providers too.

One difference is that we don't support those commercial themes or any themes from outside the WordPress repo here. That doesn't mean you can't get good support from them, it's just not here.

Ah oke. Thanks for your help.

WordPress repo hasn't got that many themes about children, daycares, babies, etc... :(

Kinda thinking I'm getting stuck, or I need to create a own template .... Which I cant

    ok people,

I've gave up with this template and I found a new one.. Hope this one is not a 'hack'-think-shitty-template...

    I'm getting this error:
"Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/gastouderopvanghetkleinhartje.nl/public_html/gastouderopvanghetkleinhartje.nl/wp-content/themes/toyzine_fleximag/functions.php on line 19"

    The command is "foreach (glob(TEMPLATEPATH."/includes/custom_functions/*.php") as $filename) { include $filename; };"

I cant see anything that's wrong?

Sorry, but that one is equally bad - all you have to do is look at the license on the download page - ick. Non-GPL themes are trouble and you will not get any help with them here.

    Did you read this:

BTW, why not pick a basic, well-coded theme from the repository here and add your own styling -- that way your site will actually look original, personal and just how you like it.
