Editor role / Permissions to edit WPtouch settings

  • Hi–

    Great plugin. I’d like to grant the Editor role access to edit the settings of this plugin. I can’t find an appropriate capability to grant permission to this role (I am using the Members plugin to manage user roles).

    Is there a custom capability to reference? If not, what capability does this plugin check for when determining if a user is admin?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    You can try adding the admin menu for Editors and other users by detecting the user level and then doing an ‘action’ depending on the user’s level.

    Example:

    global $current_user;
    get_currentuserinfo();
    if ($current_user->user_level == 1 ) //do something

    It’ll need to be included in your theme’s functions.php file.
