Editor Role not working twenty sixteen

    I am testing editor roles for a site in development.
    twenty sixteen with plugins but no customization of php

    Editor Role can not view pending posts created by Contributor or Author “unless” the Editor created them.

    This is not correct behavior per the Codex.

    If you test this with other themes and they work, then you can either post this in the theme’s support forum or since it is a core theme, you can open a Trac ticket.

    installed user role editor. this might solve my issue.
