 * I’m just now upgrading my wordpress blog to newest version and it seems it strips
   out all content within html code. All guts of all my 100s of pages are gone.
 * I see a few other topics that the solution is to use new code blocks.
 * [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/new-editor-removes-html-elements/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/new-editor-removes-html-elements/)
 * However, I can’t do that with 100s of old pages. Is there any solution for me?
 * I have upgraded to a newer theme and disabled all plugins in case that was the
   cause. But no luck.
 * Thanks!
    Carol

 * This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins,
   and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable
   them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
 * If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)
   On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and
   change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, **without affecting normal
   visitors to your site**. You can then use its admin bar menu to turn on/off plugins
   and themes one at a time.

 * I thought I did deactivate all plugins, but forgot to hit Apply – D’oh! That
   worked, I can now see the guts of the pages, so now I have to add them back one
   by one.

 * It was a plugin called Mighty Linker. Thanks!
