All I have had to do is paste the code and update file. It worked great. * I updated to 4.9 today. I went to my theme footer page (I use WordPress theme 2012) and pasted code and hit update file. After a long wait, I got this message: * “Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.” * I called BlueHost. They offered no help. * Before 4.9, I had an easy solution; Now I have a hard problem. What do I do to put my code in my footer? I also have Pinterest code and Twitter code that I have put on other pages the same way. It protects my site, so I need this problem solved. I called BlueHost. They helped me to load FileZilla. Then they wouldn’t help me anymore. They said I had to hire a web developer.
