# Editor page problem

 * When I go to the Appearance > Editor. the scroll bar of the editor window is 
   all for sudden not showing! I have to scroll down the whole page. And the same
   thing for the Editor of the plugins.
    what should I do?? I tried to re install
   WordPress but it is the same thing!

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder and wp-
   config.php & root .htaccess files – from a **fresh** download of WordPress. Make
   sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new
   ones.

 * What is the root .htaccess files? that I should keep.

 * It is a file created in your root WordPress folder when you use custom permalinks.

 * Sorry I am a bit new to all of this! So I see the wp-content and the wp-config.
   php that I should not replace. (I tried replacing the wp-admin also) But I can
   see the root .htaccess files or file! I didn’t understand what do you mean exactly.
   is it just enough to only re-upload the wp-includes??

 * No. You need to re-upload a complete set of WordPress files & folders. Were you
   using custom permalinks previously? Is your FTP client configured to show **all**
   files?

 * Oh FINALLY!
    The problem was because of the plugin “Seamless Donations”! Thank
   you very much for your help. But the thing is that I didn’t install any update
   for this plugin! All for sudden it is showing a conflict. Thank you a lot.
